Book News and A Giveaway!

I’ve been quiet on the book news front lately but rest assured–I have not been idle! Edits on my debut novel “If It Rains” are wrapping up, and a cover reveal will be coming soon (guys, I’ve seen it, and it’s GORGEOUS!) In case you missed it, yesterday I was officially introduced on the Tyndale Facebook page and a release date for my novel was announced. I’m so happy to let you know that “If It Rains” will be released on July 6, 2021!

I cannot wait to share this novel with you all; Melissa and Kathryn are characters after my own heart and their story is a journey years in the making. Keep an eye on this blog and my social media platforms for updates!

In celebration of my upcoming release, I’m indulging in all things Christian historical fiction, and I want to share one of my latest favorites with YOU! I’m giving away a copy of Lori Benton’s newest novel, “Mountain Laurel,” to one lucky reader–and it could be you!

Click HERE to enter the raffle!

Set in North Carolina in 1793, “Mountain Laurel” follows the story of Ian Cameron, a cabinet maker turned trapper with a murky past, as he attempts to settle into life as heir of his uncle’s plantation. Already uneasy about the prospective role of slave owner, his feelings are further complicated when he meets Seona, a beautiful, artistic woman, enslaved at the plantation, who holds secrets of her own.

Gracefully written and achingly tragic, “Mountain Laurel” juxtaposes the horror of slavery with the freedom found only in Christ.

I simply couldn’t put it down.

The raffle ends October 2 at midnight, and a winner will be announced on my Facebook page the next day. Winner will also be contacted via email. If the winner has not responded within 24 hours, a new winner will be chosen at random. The prize will be mailed via USPS within 7-10 days.

Good luck!
