Back home, Kathryn’s lovely older sister Melissa has just married the most dashing landowner in town, and she’s struggling to make sense of her role as the newest member of Boise City’s elite. But as the drought tightens its grip and her husband’s true colors are revealed, she finds herself covering bruises with expensive new makeup.

The two sisters must fight to survive and reunite as the world blows away beneath their feet.
